Shadow's Longing
You are the shadows, the evil inside
I am the moon, shining bright in your eyes
There is always a way of feeling free
Yet, which, will never involve me
I want to let go, I want to be free
This is not right, this can not be
Holding back the tears I sit down, alone
I forgot how to take pleasure in the moon, the way it shone
A shadow grows dazzlingly, even though it’s pitch black
I take a deep breath, not wanting to look back
Your shadow creeps out, not wanting to hide
You hastily tug back, my hair entwined
My eyes broaden, my bone chilling scream
With no other choice, I could dive into the stream
You grip even tighter, Open your eyes, you say
The pain scorches up, if I dare to look up, I pay
My own premonitions, always carved in stone
If I go now, I will not go on alone
You are the shadow that hovers over me
I’m a Moon Goddess, with no powers to be
A forbidden relationship, with evil and good
We would die clearly—if they find out, we could
Since there’s no way to see what’s to come
Just never let go, and we will be one
