How is spoken word different than written word?
Spoken word poetry is my passion because it is done through my voice. I spent a long time trying to mimic others' voices, finding myself through others' writing when I was really just searching for me. My spoken word poetry comes from me, and is the strongest when it comes from my voice. I will try to record my voice with these pieces, but for now, please enjoy them as they are written.
